2018 $5 30th Anniversary of Silver Maple Leaf Bar Set

This unique two part set includes a 2018 low mintage commemorative one ounce $5 silver maple leaf coin together with a matching two ounce fine silver bar that combine to make a perfect three ounce special edition maple leaf collector set. While the coin features a proof collector version of the Royal Canadian Mint’s silver bullion coin with a single stylized maple leaf, the bar presents two different iconic Canadian backgrounds for the coin. HST/GST exempt.

$5 Coin - The reverse design features the now classic Silver Maple Leaf’s traditional design, but with a special anniversary twist. Unchanged since 1988, the engraved sugar maple leaf takes center stage, while the superimposed number “30†indicates that 2018 is the 30th anniversary of the introduction of the RCM’s most popular silver coin. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.

Two Ounce Fine Silver Bar - This pure silver bar weighs two ounces of fine silver. The front design - features a maple tree with leaves falling from its branches. The back design - features "30" with a Canadian Rocky Mountain background which includes moose in the forefront.
